I am absolutely thrilled and consider it to be such a very special honor to be collaborating with Cathy Pegues, who is such an incredibly talented artist and co-owner of Horsefeathers Gallery. In this creative collaboration, we are working together to create custom, handcrafted garments that are one-of-a-kind, exquisitely detailed, uniquely embellished, and hand-painted, phenomenal pieces of wearable ART! We have taken certain elements inspired by exquisite detailing in the vintage world, along with our love of horses, and have re-imagined them to create high quality, uniquely designed, extraordinary pieces! These very special designs are a creative collaboration that add an artistic element, along with special detailing or embellishments, which gives the end result of being really unique treasures that are truly extraordinairre. There is a lot to be said and admired about "slow fashion" in our fast paced world. You'll see the difference with our attention to detail and in all of our hand detailing such as: hand-painting by Cathy Pegues, (a well known, highly accomplished gallery artist & co-owner of Horsefeathers Gallery), handcrafted designer artist ceramic button adornments, unique designer detailing around the cuffs/ sleeves/ collars, three dimensional elements that perhaps sparkle or shine, vintage jewel adornments, lovely lace, or hand embroidery, etc. Some of our special pieces will be decked out with many of these features, some will be wilder than others, and we will also have some plainer ones as well.
